All food, household items, clothing, and toys received were stacked, stored and distributed through the efforts of approximately 12-13 volunteers each week. The hours of their time amounts to 15 people working full time all year! Without vacation time!. [Check maintenance report to see some volunteers].
In 2008 we started a Thrift Store which was stocked with household items, toiletries, clothing, toys, etc received each week from Union Mission. These items were offered in our Free Store to our clients. There were some items which were donated by other generous persons or businesses in the Kanwha Valley that were priced for resale.
