We are looking forward to our 2009 Camp, Facing the Giants with HIM! Throughout our lives we are faced many "giants". Something that seeks to invade our lives and conquer our will, our spirit, our energies, our beliefs. They can come in many forms, but, by all system of logic, they seem undefeatable. They are so large a presence in our lives, to defeat them even seems to defy logic. But they aren't undefeatable. The example of David, the shepherd boy with the heart of a king, shows us how we may defeat these giants in our lives. Dare Agree Vacate Initiate Defeat.
As in 2008, we are holding this year's camp at Camp Whitney, just outside of Clendenin, West Virginia. The camp is fully equipped with all the amenities we require for camp, including a pool, basketball court, playground, shelter, chapel, dormitory and a hotel for the workers and visitors. We are excited about Camp 2009, and are anticipating an increase to last year's attendance of 68. Let's go for 100! The cost for each child to attend is just $75. We encourage you to sponsor a child with a donation.
