A Holiday Meal means a lot when people are struggling to make ends meet. Since its beginning, the Hissom Mission has served thanksgiving meals. This tradition continues today. We serve Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinners to those who need it. In the 1930's we packed tents erected for the purpose of feeding those in need. In the 50's, we moved our meals to the mission basement.
Today, Each holiday we serve as many as 200 needy people. You can make a difference! Your generous donation enables us to provide a traditional holiday meal with all the fixings to hundreds in the Kanawha Valley.
